PUBLIC NOTICE
The Tift County appraisal staff will be reviewing property
in the following locations during the week of
August 30th thru Septemeber 3rd
Mobile Home Decal review, for properties located
West of I-75.
Real Property Permit reviews within the City of Tifton.
The purpose of the property review is verification of property records, and Mobile Home decal enforcement. Please call the Assessors office at
386-7840 for more information.
Responsible for assessment of real estate, personal property accounts, and mobile homes. Processes changes of ownership and measures new homes in addition to commercial and industrial constructions. Maintains fair market value and uniformity as required by state law, in order to help keep Tift County’s property tax rate as low as possible.
